Peritus Precision Translations, Inc. was originally founded by Dagmar Dolatschko in 1991 in San Carlos, California and fully incorporated in 1996 in Plymouth, Massachusetts.

Ms. Dolatschko is a native of Germany. She is certified as a translator by the Bavarian Ministry for Education and Culture. She has a graduate degree from the highly accredited European language institute "Sprachen- und Dolmetscher-Institut", Munich, Germany, and an MBA from Notre Dame de Namur University, California. Prior to starting Peritus, she held positions in import, export, and worldwide marketing. She has served as president and on the boards of international business associations and has shared her expertise as a featured speaker at numerous international trade and translation-related seminars. Her unique skills combine a hands-on knowledge of translation with practical experience in global trade and business development.

The Bernese Office Guardian, is half Austrian, half American and somewhat Swiss and therefore neutral. His job is to guard the office from unwelcome intruders, greet visitors with a cheerful bark, and entertain the staff with his playful antics.

Madhura Barwe, Operations Manager. Ms. Madhura Barwe is a native of India. She holds a Master's degree in Translation from the University of Pune, India and also pursued her translation studies in France. Before she joined Peritus she worked as a freelance translator and as a professor at the translation program in the University of Pune, India, teaching French. She is fluent in English, French, Hindi, Marathi and Gujarati and is familiar with German. Madhura has been promoted to Peritus' operations manager as of October 2007. Among other things, she oversees Peritus' project flow.

Shweta Sathe, Project Manager. Ms. Shweta Sathe is a native of India and holds a Master's degree in French-English translation from Kent State University, Ohio. Shweta is fluent in English, French, Hindi, Marathi, and familiar with Spanish. She worked as a Project Coordinator at another translation agency prior to joining Peritus Precision Translations, Inc. She is trained and qualified to handle large volumes of multi-lingual translations projects from start to finish.

Sabine Hildebrand, Project Manager. Ms. Sabine Hildebrand is a native of Germany. She holds a Master's Degree in German and American Literature and communication studies (Medienwissenschaften) from the University of Mannheim, Germany. She further is a certified translator for German and English with a translation degree from the Englisches Institut, Heidelberg, Germany. Prior to joining Peritus Precision Translations, Inc. she worked as an executive search consultant for Ray & Berndtson and Heidrick & Struggles.

Yiman Liu, Project & Resource Manager. Ms. Liu is tri-lingual with a multi-cultural, intercontinental background. Born in China, she grew up in Germany and lived in the U.S. She speaks Chinese and German at a native level and is also fluent in English. She holds a bachelor in Chinese studies and masters in Sociology and Economics. She has previous experience as a project manager at another agency in Europe and has worked as a cultural consultant for international market research companies.

Simone Fresinger, Interim Contract Project Manager. Ms. Simone Fresinger is a native of Germany. She holds an M.A in Industrial & Organizational Psychology from Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-University, Bonn, Germany and is certified as a 'Professional in Human Resources'(PHR) by the Society for Human Resource Management. Currently, she is pursuing her MBA at Notre Dame de Namur University. Her experience includes project management, human resources and customer satisfaction management as well as training and consulting in international companies of diverse industries.

Heather Domengeaux, Office Administrator. Heather is a fifth-generation Californian, and a long-time SF Bay Area resident. She attended Cal Poly State University, San Luis Obispo and has worked in the high tech and nonprofit sectors for many years as a marketing communications and administrative coordinator. She strives to keep the day-to-day functions of the office running smoothly and keeps us organized. Besides, hers is the friendly voice that greets our callers.

Patricia Ellis, Resource Coordinator and Virtual Admininstrative Support. Tricia currently focuses on managing all the data related to the Peritus network of subcontractors. She has been with Peritus since 1998. Tricia was Peritus' original office manager and first project manager when the company was located in Plymouth, Mass and has accompanied us on our journey through all these years. She is experienced with various software packages, database programs, and the Peritus subcontractor selection process. She ensures that we have the most qualified translators in our network and supports us on an ad-hoc basis with other projects as well.
